Arjun and Friends is a community volunteer group started by the piano studio of Dr. Linda Govel.
Arjun started off with a solo piano recital on Feb 19, 2019 at The Canterbury. Residents of The Canterbury welcomed Arjun and in the conversation that followed the performance, they asked him to come back again to play piano compositions by a variety of composers. Arjun’s friend and studio mate James Govednik joined Arjun at the next recital. With more recitals being scheduled, Arjun & Friends was formed as a volunteer group.
James is now an undergraduate student at University of Tennessee, Knoxville. Arjun is a student of Professor Craig Richey at The Bob Cole Conservatory, CSU Long Beach.
